Alarm.com Powers Smart Home Security Solution From Spark

Spark now offers a self-installed kit of wireless security hardware powered by Alarm.com's advanced smart home security services. The solution is branded as Morepork - named after an owl native to New Zealand - and makes Spark the first telecommunications provider to bring smart home technology to the New Zealand market.

Alarm.com's service platform and hardware ecosystem gave Spark best-in-class options to create a custom smart home offering that best addressed the needs of its customer base and intended business model. Designed in collaboration with Alarm.com, the offering includes a security panel, door and window sensors, Alarm.com's top rated mobile app, as well as visual awareness to detect people in the home through Alarm.com's exclusive Image Sensor and HD video cameras.

Offered as a self-installed solution, customers receive pre-configured hardware, online support from a dedicated customer support team and the option of professional monitoring. The completely wireless system is easy to install. Connected devices work seamlessly together, straight out of the box.
